Internships

Through its fostering of strong and meaningful relationships, our team contributes to the University's priority of developing College Park and beyond. While assisting various projects, interns will gain training and hands-on experience in building and maintaining mutually collaborative relationships in education, business, media, government, and communities.

Commitment: All internship positions are 12 weeks, 10 hours per week. Hours and duration are flexible according to the candidate's availability and/or graduation date. Intern positions are volunteer/unpaid. Interns are encouraged to coordinate receiving academic credit.

Volunteer Community Engagement Intern

Our office seeks an energetic, passionate, and reliable Volunteer Community Engagement Intern. Interns will assist in building community relationships and documenting community experiences in and around College Park by attending 3-4 local volunteer opportunities during the Spring or Summer semesters and visually documenting their experiences through an online blog.

Through this volunteer internship, interns will gain valuable insight into community partnership building, local volunteer experiences, and issues important to Prince George’s County residents.
